Fawkes Market Mirrors — Security Notes
Fawkes Market runs five official access points: one Tor onion service and four clearnet HTTPS mirrors. This page lists each with its security profile, so you can pick the right door for the moment — and recognise when a door isn't official at all.

Choosing a door
| Situation | Use |
|---|---|
| Everyday use, privacy matters | Onion (Tor Browser) |
| Quick browse, convenience matters | Any clearnet mirror |
| One mirror slow or offline | Another mirror — any of the five |
| Network blocks Tor | Clearnet mirror (optionally via VPN) |
| Network blocks clearnet mirrors | Onion over Tor (optionally with bridges) |
| Suspect a phishing wave | Onion only, and verify fawkes.sc |
Mirror security rules
- fawkes.sc is the source of truth. Any link not listed there is untrusted, however good it looks.
- HTTPS must be valid. A certificate warning on a mirror means a fake or a typo — close the tab.
- Read domains character by character. The fakes live in single-character differences.
- One dead mirror means nothing. Doors go down individually in DDoS floods; that's why there are five.
- PGP 2FA everywhere. Whichever door you use, the account lock protects you. See 2FA.
